A special raw timber molding was selected to match the character of this hand made mural embroidery. 
We avoided using glass or clear acrylic for this framing project in order to bring out the beauty of the small glittering mirrors stitched up together on the mural embroidery and not to cover the non reflective properties of its fabric surface.

     Often used in restaurants and hotels, designers have been using  mirrors to enhance and make small spaces  feeling bigger. Mirrors are apparently the best way to trick the eye by visual manipulation ~ they may make us feel like the room can get more square feet,  more height and increased brightness than we expected.
